Exploring his subject matter through a range of mdeiums and processes such as oil painting, printmaking, collage and ceramics; Edward’s work seeks to represent with honesty, something of the ineffable aspects of being. His painterly approach to practice is primarily concerned with representing the way he sees his world and is fascinated with materiality. Underpinned by a perculiar tension between the realities and romantics of a past and future in flux, Edward’s work hangs in suspense and stands testament to the haptic rawness of life- mythologising the ordinary.
